We are a community ground-up initiative that provides publicly available legal information, directories, and referral pathways. We do not provide legal advice, offer legal representation, and act as an agent for any lawyer or law firm.
All information on the Platform is provided solely for general informational purposes.
No Legal Advice or Lawyer-Client Relationship
The content on SGJI, including directories, pathways, illustrations, and quiz results:
- Is not legal advice,
- Is not a substitute for legal advice, and
- Does not create any lawyer-client, or professional relationship between you and SGJI, or between you and any lawyer/law firm listed on the Platform.

Accuracy and Completeness of Information
We aim to keep information accurate, neutral, and up-to-date. However:
- SGJI makes no warranties or guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, suitability, or availability of the content;
- Information may change without notice; and

SGJI is not responsible for any errors, outdated information, or omissions.
Directories and Third-Party Listings
Our Platform provides directory listings of lawyers, law firms, community agencies, and other third-party organisations.
By using these listings, you acknowledge that SGJI:
- Does not endorse or promote any lawyer, firm, or service provider;
- Does not verify, monitor, or guarantee the qualifications, availability, conduct, or outcomes of any third-party service provider;
- Is not involved in any communication, agreement, or engagement between you and any third party.
Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
Referrals and Resource Pathways
Our referral-related features aim to help users understand available options for seeking legal assistance.
We do not:
- Assign cases,
- Act as an intermediary,
- Participate in fee arrangements, and
- Receive commissions, incentives, or payments from any lawyer or firm.
Any decision to contact a lawyer or service provider is solely yours.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform – including text, graphics, logos, icons, layouts, and design – is owned by SGJI, unless otherwise stated.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the content;
- Use SGJI branding or materials for commercial purposes;
- Extract or re-pubish directory listings for external use.
Personal, non-commercial use is allowed,
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Platform;
- Upload or submit unlawful, abusive, or defamatory content;
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s operations;
- Engage in data scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction of directory information;
- Use the Platform for advertising, solicitation, or commercial purposes without written consent from SGJI.
We may suspend or restrict access to users who violate these Terms.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.
SGJI is not responsible for the:

Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SGJI, its contributors, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

- Or your interactions with third parties.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
